Privacy

Subtitle files and pasted text are processed inside your browser. There is no subtitle upload endpoint. The tool does not send your subtitle contents or filenames to a server and does not save subtitles in cookies or application storage. Your browser may restore form contents independently.

Website hosting

The deployed website is hosted by Cloudflare. Delivering its pages involves connection information such as your IP address and browser request headers. This is separate from subtitle processing, which stays on your device. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Usage statistics

On subtitles.changsulab.com, we use Umami Cloud to count page visits and tool starts, successful conversions, failed conversions, copies, and download requests. We send the page path, page title, referring website origin, and event name. We do not include URL queries or fragments, subtitles, filenames, email addresses, or error messages. Our integration does not enable session replay or identify you by an account.

These requests go to Umami, which receives connection information needed to handle them. Umami describes its analytics as cookie-free. Our tracker is disabled on local and Workers preview addresses and when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Blocking statistics does not disable the tool. Feedback you choose to send

Email is optional. Your email provider and the recipient receive whatever you include. Subtitles and filenames are never attached automatically. Do not send confidential files; share only small, redacted excerpts you have permission to share.
